From Medway Area
Take M2 coast bound exit A251 signposted Faversham. At end of off ramp turn right, signposted Ashford and Canterbury. 7 miles on you come to roundabout at Half Way House pub, go straight across. After half a mile turn left onto narrow track, signposted Wye. Down steep hill, after 1.5 miles at staggered crossroads turn right and left (effectively straight across) again signposted Wye. Follow road into village until you come to level crossing, which you cross. Go to all routes below.
From London and Maidstone
Take M20 signposted Folkestone. Exit Junction 9 and take first exit from roundabout. Take second exit effectively straight on at next roundabout and keep going across a variety of mini roundabouts through a new light industrial / housing estate. Keep going as far as traffic lights (c 3 miles) then turn left into A251 towards Faversham. After half mile pass Eastwell Manor entrance on left and after another 300 yards start looking for cricket green on right at Boughton. Fork right down nearside of cricket green (green will be on your left) then turn right at junction at far end of green. (If you miss fork you can turn right at next junction - green will then be on your right and keep going) Follow road for one mile to cross roads go straight across A28, signposted Wye, down Harville Road. Follow this road to village and turn right across level crossing. Go to all routes below.
From Kent Coast
Take M20, signposted Ashford & London. Exit Junction 10 Ashford International. Take 3rd exit, signposted William Harvey Hospital. Turn right before hospital. After 500 yards take first left, signposted Wye & Brook, effectively a fork in the road. Follow for c 4 miles and the road eventually becomes Oxenturn Road. You come to T junction, turn right into Upper Bridge Street. After 600 yards another T junction, turn right into Scotton Street - signposted Hastingleigh. Follow all routes below from Scotten Street.
From Smeeth
Take A20 towards Ashford. Shortly after the Mersham turning there is a turn to the right signposted Wye & Hinxhill. Follow this road to the end and turn left at the T-junction. At the next T-junction turn right, signposted Wye & Brook. Ignore the turn off to Brook and follow the road all the way into Wye Village. At the end of the road is another T-junction, turn right and follow round to next staggered crossroads. Turn right again and continue up Scotton Street. Follow all routes below from Scotton Street.
All Routes
Go straight across level crossing, pass the Tickled Trout and follow road left into Churchfields Way which becomes Scotton Street. Follow road through village and out the other side another 1/4 mile, until just before Withersdane Hall (part of Imperial College) on right. Turn right (no road name, just a dead end sign) before Hall, which will then be on your left as you follow track, which goes hard left, then hard right. Ignore an inviting fork to the left; Handley Cross is first house on right 500 yards or so on.
